The main compartment contains a small zip up, velcro on, removable pouch that can be ideal for your valuable. The lid's "luggage spider" shock cord allows attachment of items externally. The removable shoulder strap makes for easy carrying when strolling around off of your bike. Small stuff like sunscreen and powerbars are kept handy in the 2 side compartments. When the weather gets wet, an included rain cover is included for popping around the bag.
The overall shape and function of the bag comes with the internal foam frame that also serves to insulate your lunch or picnic. The bottom and front of the bag is made from tough slip and abrasion resistant material. This helps with its firm footing on your bike rack or when you've got the bag on the go off of the bike.
