Tubus QR Adapter for Cargo Vega Fly Cosmo and Carry

Stock status: 5+ in stock

Overview

Use the Tubus QR Adapter to mount the Cargo, Tubus Vega, Fly, Cosmo or Carry rear racks to a bicycle frame without eyelets on the rear dropouts. This nifty adapter utilizes a quick release skewer to clamp a bracket in position for interfacing with the 2 lower mounting holes of a rear rack.

This is a secure way to mount a rack on a bike that was not intended to have a rack. With this setup, you can convert your racing bike or your MTB into a touring bike!

If you would like to utilize this setup while mounting a BOB Trailer to your bicycle, it will be necessary to use the wider 160mm Santana QR(in place of the quick release that comes with the Tubus QR Adapter). It will also be necessary to switch to a Santana Fork on your BOB for proper interfacing between the BOB fork and BOB QR.

Includes

  • 1 Quick release skewer
  • 4 Washers
  • 6 Spacers
  • 2 Brackets
  • 4 Nuts
  • 4 Bolts

Warranty

Tubus Racks come with a 10-YEAR WARRANTY.
Tubus also offers a 3-year Mobile Guarantee. To qualify, send in the registration card that comes with your rack. Tubus will air-mail a replacement rack anywhere in the world if the rack breaks during normal use. This is great peace of mind for cycle tourists traveling to far-off corners of the world.
