Tubus Logo Rear Rack

Stock status: Ships in approx. 1-2 weeks

The Tubus Logo is an ideal rack for bike setups requiring extra heel clearance (Short Chain stays / Large Size Shoes). The Logos utilize a lower mounting point which improves center of gravity and allows for better loading on the top of the rack. The design at the same time allows for bags to mount further back, thereby permitting extra heel clearance. Variable attachment system makes an easy installation on nearly all frame geometries.

Consider mounting a set of Ortlieb, Jandd, Vaude, or other panniers to your Logo for the extra cargo room you've been looking for.

If your bicycle doesn't have upper eyelets, use the Tubus Seat Stay Mounts. These are available in five sizes to fit any bike.

*If you are planning to use the Logo with a BOB trailer, be aware you may have a potential clearance issue. Please call us for more information.

Great rack. Well made. Fits well on my new Trek Soho 8 speed. I had to bend the two connecting rods to fit to the bike, but they bend easily enough and the directions are clear. I use the lower portion on the rack and have no problem with heal clearance with my size 13 shoes. I bought a pair of Ortlieb Back-roller classic bags and they fit well too.

The rack itself is great, and I am very happy with it thus far despite a bit of confusion. This distributor seems to have received a funky batch of Logo racks, and consequently, the dropout plate is slightly different than any other rack Tubus makes. That being said, if you plan on using the quick release adapter you may have to contact Tubus for the correct adapter bracket, as Bike Bag Shop was extremely unhelpful in solving this problem. I contacted them because on their sister site, BikeTrailerShop, the Tubus Logo is one of the racks listed as compatible with the QR adapter, though BikeBagShop did not list it in the same manner. Needless to say when I contacted them, they had no clue how to mitigate this issue, and when I recommended they fix the description for the adapter on the BikeTrailerShop site as it was incorrect, I was greeted with an uncalled-for attitude. Overall, good products and good prices, but they need to work on their customer relationship skills.

My husband and I have Bike Friday folders and finding the right rack for us was a bit of a chore. After talking with several bike stores and online shops, I found BikeBagShop recommended. I called them and they assured me they would help me get the right rack. I ordered a Logo, and with the 350mm Tubus stays, it fit perfectly. I've used this rack for one weekend tour down the C&O and for numerous grocery shopping trips so far. I love the way the weight is down those few inches helping keep the center of mass low. I also like the way I can slide the panniers back far enough so that my heels aren't hitting.
