Tubus Cosmo Rear Rack

Stock status: 5 in stock

Sleek look and savvy design

(New model with extended rear top section.)

The Tubus Cosmo is a top-of-the-line rear rack made of high grade, hand welded, stainless steel tubing. The design is modeled after the Tubus Luna which allows you to mount your panniers on a lower set of side rails so your load is closer to the axle and the large platform adds stability to your load. The rack also offers mounting further back on the rack to provide the necessary heel clearance. The variable attachment system makes for easy installation on nearly all frame geometry combinations. This rack is sleek-looking and durable, and is great for any touring excursion.

Consider mounting Ortlieb, Jandd, Vaude, and other panniers to the Cosmo. We also recommend adding the Busch & Muller 4D Toplight to your rack.

The Tubus Cosmo rear rack can be mounted to a bicycle without rack eyelets with the Tubus QR Adapter. If your bicycle doesn't have upper eyelets, use the Tubus Seat Stay Mounts. These are available in five sizes to fit any bike.

*If you are planning to use the Cosmo with a BOB trailer, be aware you may have a potential clearance issue. Please call us for more information.

Thank you folks for the splendid customer service! I ordered my Tubus Cosmo Rear Rack one afternoon and it was here in Chicago the very next day. The installation instructions are clear and concise. I had the rack on my bike within 15 minutes with no difficulty. The German made Tubus Cosmo Rear Rack is an absolutely splendid piece of workmanship ... solid, stable, elegant, light, extremely strong, and obviously very carefully made. My Ortlieb briefcase slips right onto the rack in all of about 2 seconds, enabling me to schlep all of my computer gear around securely and quietly! You folks and the folks at Tubus have earned a customer for life! With warmest regards and many thanks from Chicago! John LaPine

@Andy_in_Germany I suspect Eurobike would be even better for electric cargo bikes. I'm reminded I need to publish your #Xtracycle post.
