Racktime Tourit Rear Rack

Stock status: 5 in stock

Get Out of Town

The Racktime Tourit is a rear rack made for touring, adventuring, and getting out of town with your bike. The Tourit is Racktime's only touring-specific rack in the Racktime line-up of front and rear bike racks.

The Tourit can carry 30 kg. or 66 lbs. of weight, and it weighs slightly less than 2 lbs. Much like the Addit, the Tourit has a second rail below the main deck of the rack for mounting rear panniers. The lower pannier mount rail provides for a low center of gravity and added heal clearance. Although the Tourit is slightly heavier than its brother the Addit, its design supports your panniers a bit more, making it ideal for touring. The rack's design also protects rear tail lights mounted on the rack.

The Tourit can accommodate both 26" and 700c bike wheels, and it is available in black and silver. The Tourit is compatible with all Racktime products and components that use the Snapit mounting system.

Nice & sturdy. The frame on my Schwinn (lovingly known in our house as "the grandma bike") did not accommodate this rack, so we put it on my trusty old Trek. I bought the Racktime DoubleIt panniers along with this rack. The panniers snap on & off so easily! The rack did not come with installation instrcutions, but they are easily downloaded from the product page if you need them.
