Had tried a couple of local bike shop options for front handlebar bag, but nothing seemed to be exactly what I wanted, so back they went. I wanted a secure mount, an ability to lock the bag to the bike yet easily take it with me without a huge hassle, and not rattle around or be in the way with stiff cables, etc. I finally found perfection in the Orlieb Ultimate 5 Classic Compact - perfect size as well - just big enough for a wallet, tissues, keys, sunglasses, sunscreen, and anything that fits in my smallish purse. It easily attached by cable system to my handlbars (if I can figure it out, anyone can), is not enmeshed with bike cables, and unlocks so easily when I want to take it with me. Great Construction. Would seriously consider Ortlieb for all bike accessories in the future.

This is a perfect sized bag for commuting.. Not too big not too small. The mounting system allows for plenty of hand clearance on the bars.. I got stuck in a huge rain storm last week and my cell, camera, and all other items were bone dry...it truly is a waterproof bag....
