Ortlieb Front Roller Classic waterproof panniers are terrific, expedition-quality front panniers. Mount these panniers to one of our front bicycle racks to expand your overall cargo capacity.

These bags offer retractable handles for easy and convenient mounting and dismounting as well as attachable straps so you can sling the bag over your shoulder when off the bike. If you prefer more loading capacity, couple these front panniers with the Back Roller Classics for a great touring pair. You can rely on Ortlieb bags to keep all of your gear safe and dry.

(Front Roller Classic's panniers come as a set of 2) Note: When using Ortlieb Roller Classic Panniers with Tubus Tara or Duo racks, adjust the pannier's lower mounting hook. After removing the hook, rotate the grommet 90 degrees adding an additional 5 mm of width for wider rack diameters.

I love this bag. I use them on a rear rack for my commute. Plenty big for what I need. Easy to take on and off. Someone said to me that you better like the color because they will last forever (when they only came in primary colors) I chose black. So professional! Glad I had that option because I think I will have this bag a long time. A quality item, just find the size you want and get it.

dude, these panniers are tough. I bought them to do a lot of mountain touring. I put them on a modified front rack on my 150mm travel 29er fork. I then did a trip by train to Washington state, rode around the Olympic Peninsula, ending up in Seattle. Not a drop of water touched any of the vital items inside, and the rack broke before anything on the bags, literally. I was impressed by the ease of access and ease of removal. They even withstood a portage down an unexpected cliff where a road washed out, a few instances of being entirely submerged, and of course several crashes. On the Olympic Discovery trail, they were situated perfectly to clear the anti motor vehicle bars. If you jump the bike, sometimes the tabs for lower anchoring may let go, giving you a look of a dog with it's head out the car window, but the top clips never let go on me. even after a couple hundred miles of singletrack, and several more of double track and dirt roads. Ortlieb should keep up the good work. Oh, and the shipping was prompt, the service was immediate, and they even hooked up a free taillight when I bought the panniers. The Planet bike superflash is one hell of a light. get one and be seen

I bought these paniers knowing what they were--I already own the rear classics and needed a new pair of smaller/front paniers to go with them and keep my stuff dry. I recommend them highly. So my goal was simply to get the best price from a reputable vendor. I think I got that. Service was prompt and the items came quickly considering I live across country from AZ. Progress of the delivery was easy to track by FedEx. My only gripe is the use of FedEx--the idiot driver should slow down long enough to read the house numbers because s/he left the package at the wrong house and I only found it when I went to get my (vacationing) neighbor's mail. For many reasons, I definitely prefer UPS...

These bags are of very high quality, and are worth the price if you need to keep your stuff dry. The only qualm I have with them is the lack of vertical adjustment in the bottom hook, but there is a bit of flexibility in the system. Not mentioned in the description,( that I could find at least), is the internal organizing pocket for small things, this is very convenient. Great buy!

I've been using these bags for a few weeks now and absolutely love them. I take them to work and school and use them as a backpack when they're not on the bike. I use them to pick up my CSA share every week and take them to the grocery store (instead of using my heavier-to-haul child trailer). They are very versatile, great quality, easy on - easy off, easy to wipe clean and pleasing to the eye. I am looking forward to testing them out during the Monsoon season! I'd also like to mention the outstanding customer service provided by bikebagshop.com My rack and bags were installed the day I purchased them (I live in town) and I was given a call promptly to pick up my bike. Love this shop and their products!

Bike Bag Shop does it again. I have finally completed my rack set up with a Tubus Nova and Front Roller Classics. The Front Roller Classics are the perfect size for my laptop and other daily work necessities. They feel very secure and balanced on the front rack. The Front Roller Classics will probably become my daily pannier while the size of the Back Rollers is perfect for grocery store trips.

These are the best bags. I started out trying to get bags that were not as expensive but waterproof and easy to attach and detach from my bike. I kept coming back to Ortlieb. Then I had to decide if I needed the bags for the rear or the front rollers. I commute to work everyday in NYC and although I do carry a lot some days (lunch, bike lights, extra clothes for rain, etc., gym clothes), the front rollers are perfect. I have them on my back rack, however. I purchased a Giant Transcend and it already had a rack attached--the bags fit right into the little groves for attaching bags. I did not have to adjust although it is very easy too. I see using these for a very long time. I know I made the right choice and if I ever decide to tour, I'll just purchase the back panniers to go along with my front ones. Oh and did I say that BikeBagShop.com has the best price for these bags on the Internet. Thank you bikebagshop!

I purchased a set of front and back classics this summer for a tour to Ottawa area from Rochester NY in October and for two of the days I was blessed with heavy rain along with strong winds. Not a bit of moisture got inside the bags and I loved the ease with which they go on and off my racks. I like the strength of construction and feel they are a great value.

I love these panniers! I used them for a weekend tour on the C&O Canal in the rain and mud. Nothing inside got wet and because they are so waterproof, I could hose the mud off before opening them. I also love that the shoulder straps stay on them all the time making it easy to unload my bike. Great panniers.

As an avid commuter and recreational/distance rider, I don't know how I ever got along without these panniers. They're marvelously well-designed: easy no-tools mounting, clever and secure attachment, completely waterproof, and very sturdy. I've used messenger bags for a few years and finally having the load off my back has been great. I feel much more able to do most of my moving around the city by bike when I can carry 99% of the things I need in a pair of Ortliebs. The huge reflective patches on both sides of the bags increase my visibility as well. New for this year are pockets inside each bag for smaller items, which is really helpful. I've use these bags to commute to work, going the grocery store (I do all of my shopping with them-- a 15 lb. box of cat litter fits perfectly in one bag), for picnics, for carrying plants home from the nursery (tomato plants love how warm and humid the bags keep them), for carrying heavy tools, on frequent overnight trips, and any variety of other tasks that'd otherwise require the use of a car. I'm committed to a car-light lifestyle and these bags turn good intentions into positive action.
