The two d-rings on the roll closure make the saddle bag easy to lock or fix. A reflector and the ability to mount an additional rear light are further features of these small but fine bags. Also, a positive side effect is that the saddlebag acts as a mudguard.
Fitted under the saddle, the mounting makes the saddle bag easy to attach or remove. Simply slide on, click in and fasten the Velcro™ strip to the seat post for stability.

***Please Note: Brooks saddles utilize a rail system that flares out much further up on the saddle than other saddles, shortening the available mounting area both for seat posts and for saddle accessories designed to fit the standard rail width. In some occasions Ortlieb Saddle Bags will still work, such as if seatpost with a minimalist style clamp such as Thompson is used and the seat is slid back as much as possible. However generally these products do not play well together.

One option to consider for the Medium and Large Plus and Classic Ortlieb Saddle Bags is to utilize the Ortlieb Saddle Bag Mounting Straps as they provide a workable solution for mounting these bags to Brooks saddles.
