Ortlieb Back Roller Classic waterproof panniers are terrific expedition quality rear panniers with a roll-top closure. The waterproof fabric, durable design, and easy mounting system make these rear panniers great for daily use or bicycle touring.

These panniers are compatible with most bike racks and offer a shoulder strap for easy travel while off the bike. For additional Cargo space, couple these bags with the Front Roller Classics for an awesome bike touring combination.

Internal storage pocket.
Rolled "dry-bag" type closure making the bag completely waterproof.
Durable polyester fabric with an inner, highly durable, thermoplastic waterproof coating.
High frequency welded seams, providing excellent waterproofing.
Strap and buckles that close the system double as shoulder straps for carrying the packs.
Quick lock hooks open automatically by pulling up on the pannier handles.
QL1 lower and upper mounting system
Fits rack rails from 8mm to 16mm diameter.

Amazingly cool bags that I started using immediately and am very satisfied with. I had some trouble with the directions, which are visual, but not entirely clear. I called Bike Bag Shop and they walked me through how to attach the bags and roll them up, and in five minutes, I was all set. Very good customer service there. In short, I could have spent about $100 less for an inferior bag that would have been next-to-impossible to remove from the rack and/or not waterproof and/or not as spacious, but I went with these top-of-the-line Ortliebs. I'm so glad I spent the extra money.

Awesome bags!!! There is a separator pocket inside that sits on the side nearest the rack to hold tubes, tools and lights. These things are bulletproof and I am so happy with their performance. Comes with great instructions to set up properly and inserts for different rack tubing sizes. Very satisfied.

Excellent panniers. Best price I found on the web (compared to $170+ at several other sites). I have also have the ortlieb computer bag pannier and it's a sturdy dry bag. I recommend these to friends and family and anyone else who asks.

I got these bags for my wife who was biking to campus (about 7 mi each way) with a lot of books and a netbook. They were really easy to install and adjust, and now it's a cinch to put them on and remove them from the bike. The main feature needed was the shoulder strap for carrying the bags to classes. If one thing could be improved on a great product, maybe a little more padding could be put in the part of the strap going over the shoulder. Besides that, it's a great product.
