For a do everything bag in a small package, the Mission Workshop Monty has it all. Waterproof fabric, tons of organization pockets and adjustable straps for a perfect fit, you can't miss with a high caliber bag such as this.

The Monty, like it's fellow Mission Workshop Messengers, is made with 1000 Cordura denier fabric and a great design. The most notable feature that sets these bags apart, is the main closure. Modeled with a standard messenger flap, it looks like any other messenger bag. However, you can also roll down the top, for a more tight and secure closure. This makes for added waterproofing on rainy days.

The big picture is great with a bomber waterproof messenger bag, but the devil is in the details. Luckily, Mission thought of that too! Whether you're a lefty, or righty, or go both ways, you can switch up your strap with this bag. Multiple accessory attachments and Aluminum hardware add convenience to the highly functional Monty. "Now, we have to say that our warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship. What it doesn't cover is reasonable wear and tear or abuse. If you drag your bag around behind your car, or carry a bunch of razor sharp machetes with you, that's on you. We can fix it, but we wont cover the costs, and we might recommend for you not to do that anymore."

Wow pretty much sums up the quality of this bag and BikeBagShops service. I had been thinking about purchasing a messenger bag for over a year but had been reluctant because I already had a number of other bags of one kind or another. Yes, I am a bag boy, so to speak but didn't have a heavy duty bag that I could load with gobs of stuff and have it ride up higher (for stability) on my back. I am 62 yo and recently retired. I have seen and purchased many products over the years, both good and bad and the Mission Workshop bag ranks at the top of the list. I love it for many reasons among them being the construction, materials, color, the capacity even with the Monty and the ease with which to position it over my head onto the shoulder. The adjusting strap is just plain fun to use. One yank of the strap and it cinches up tight across your upper back to wherever you want it to sit and one lift of the buckle elongates the length of the strap making it easy to lift over your head. The color I ordered was gray because it was on clearance or overstock making it $15 cheaper but it seems like it has a greenish tint to it which I think looks amazing. The outer fabric seems bullet proof, the stitching is almost overkill and the truck tarp inside is more supple than I thought it would be. All in all a wonderful product made right here in the USA. There is an online video of how to flip the shoulder strap from one side to another. Check it out first to see how the chest stabilizing strap is uniquely locked in place. I couldn't be happier with BikeBagShop's service either. Phone ordered and arrived one day later than predicted but that was because FedEx didn't find my building the first day they tried. Received a phone call the next morning asking for directions and the bag landed before my door later that day. Thank you MW and BBS!!!
