Pros: -It’s a large light (4.5” wide). -It’s easy to install. -It’s screwed into the rack so a thief will have to unscrew it to steal it. -It’s reasonably bright. Cons: -The construction seems cheap. The on/off switch is flimsy and it doesn’t seem waterproof/resistant. -There are 4 points of light, so only small areas of the light are brightly lit. Other thoughts: This is a red light, and in the dark it will be visible. However, I was really hoping it would be brighter. My only other experience with bike lights has been Planet Bike, and that light was blindingly bright. I may just be paranoid, but the brighter and more visible I am, the more comfortable I feel. I am also concerned that it doesn’t seem waterproof. There is no seal between the front and the back, and the switch is not protected from water either. While I hope this doesn’t happen, I am willing to bet that if I get caught in a bad rainstorm this light will fail. Would I buy this again? Eh...probably, but only because I may be in places where flashing lights aren’t allowed. To be safe, I’m also going to bring my trusty Planet Bike lights.

This light is all I was hoping it would be. It's bright and fits perfectly into my Tubus Logo back rack. Also, it installs quickly. The service from BikeBagShop is the best I've run into on the web. Thanks!

Nice backlight! However, you should be aware: If you use the tubus (cosmo) rear rack together with Ortlieb panniers, as I guess many people do, you cannot mount the light directly to the rack without having problems mounting the panniers (blocking). I had to make some spacers to move the light an inch farther out. Mayvbe I did something wrong, but I want to point that out since it is advertised as an useful upgrade. I am also not blaming this on the back light itself...

The Customer Service provided by BikeBagShop.com is superb! My Busch and Muller 4D Toplight arrived very quickly, and I was able to install it in about 5 minutes thanks to the very simple instructions. The light mounted with precision to the rear bracket of my Tubus Cosmo Rear Rack, and I am delighted to report that Chicago Motorists can now see me from quite a distance when I am riding my bicycle at night on the City streets. Thank you for a distinctive, safe, well-engineered product. My hat is off to you folks and it is an absolute pleasure doing business with you! With warm regards and many thanks from Chicago!
